Our client who is famed for fine food and excellent service and one of the most prestigious restaurants in the area is now looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen Assistant to build their already glowing reputation.

This is the ideal role for an experienced Sous Chef who wants to build a career with an excellent reputable company.

As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen, focusing on cooking top quality food made from fresh produce using raw ingredients.

Your duties will include:

Preparation of food for the night
Ensuring the kitchen is ran smoothly at all times
Ensuring the food is current and contemporary
Maintaining high levels of food hygiene

To be considered for the role of a Kitchen Assistant, you must have:

Experience in a similar role
Experience of working to a high standard
Passion for you own work
Your own transport

Additionally, you must possess high levels of accuracy and good organisational skills. You must be willing to assist other members of the team with tasks that are required. A good knowledge of wine is an advantage.
