POST Recruitment are recruiting an Account Manager to join our client, a retail marketing agency based in central Leeds.

Due to continued growth they are recruiting for an Account Manager to join the team. In this role you will be the key contact for both the suppliers and retailers.

You will work with them to define their retail strategy, building creative shopper marketingplans and advising on retail media plans that will drive significant sales growth.


The Role:

As an Account Manager you will drive business growth by unlocking client's and supplier's business opportunities and capabilities to deliver outstanding client service and effective cross channel plans that exceed client expectations


Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds and owns relationships with category & supplier contacts on a day to day basis
  • Effectively work with Account Director and Senior Account Manager and builds strong relationships with counterparts in Business Development, Insight and Campaign Management teams to deliver brilliant end to end experience for customers within a specificcategory
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of your clients and suppliers to enable the delivery of innovative, strategic, ambitious and commercial plans that meet business targets and KPIs
  • Ensures wider office teams are aware of category objectives
  • Understands the business model, current performance and what success looks like in order to hit revenue target and required media blends
  • Uses historic campaign performance and robust media planning processes to deliver successful campaigns, challenging briefs where required
  • Ensures new insight is generated for each campaign
  • Updates forecasts, flagging risks and tracking progress to Senior Account Manager
  • Hit revenue target for specific categories

Your Experience:


  • Relevant industry experience, either within retail, sales and/or media planning
  • Ability to create effective cross channel plans to deliver results and client satisfaction
  • Effective relationship building
