_Recra are working in partnership_ with a leading food manufacturer, we are looking to recruit a Training co-ordinator to join the team. The Training Coordinator will monitor and ensure that the Group Training policies and procedures are being implemented and maintained effectively on the site. They will work closely with and advise production management with regards to Training and be pro-active in developing new training initiatives to meet the demands of a fast changing industry.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • To regularly audit the Trainers on site to ensure staff are being trained and retrained effectively and within Group policies and procedures, providing feedback and advice to Senior Management.
  • To communicate effectively with the production management team to remain informed at all times of pending changes, current issues and training priorities and work towards Service Level Agreements being achieved.
  • To liaise with Line Manager on any deviations, training gaps and serious current or potential problems so as to resolve quickly.
  • Ensure PP is maintained to keep personal records up to date.
  • To evaluate all training undertaken, both internally and externally, and consider the effectiveness of the trainers used.
  • To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
  • To liaise with Project Engineers and Production Management with regards to new systems, machinery and products to ensure staff are 'trained to train' prior to implementation of the new item and ensure the SOP and WI is provided.

Experience required:


  • Experience in delivering training
  • Experience in training procedures
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Driving licence
  • Level 3 Training Qualification

Desirable:


  • Experience in food manufacturing
  • Assessor qualification
  • Intermediate / advanced food safety qualification.
  • Level 3 Food Safety/HACCP qualification
