Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Specialist Support Officer to work full time based in Camden, LondonThe salary for this permanent Specialist Support Officer job is up to £29,450 per annum.
Main Duties:
- Undertaking group and onetoone interventions with clients utilizing specialized approaches such as CBTinformed interventions, psychoeducational groups, and harm minimization strategies
- Providing comprehensive support planning services aligned with departmental policies and procedures
- Participating in crossservice initiatives and projects related to mental health specialist areas, such as organizational training, reflective case management, and peer support groups
- Conducting assessments to identify and prioritize needs, utilizing SMART goal planning for holistic support
Requirements of this job:
- Knowledge of specialist assessment tools, evidencebased interventions suitable for mental health and community settings
- Experience in customer assessments, support planning, keyworking, crisis management, and running therapeutic groups
- Basic IT skills, time management, prioritization, effective written communication, and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures for children and adults
