Stanton House is currently recruiting for a Group Financial Controller to join a retail business in Southeast England on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, offering £85,000 - £90,000 (depending on experience).

This hybrid role works 3 days in the office and the rest from home.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a business that is growing significantly both domestically and across the globe.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the UK financial control team, managing around 15 members.
  • Complete the monthend and year end process and consolidate the group numbers.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Coordinate and lead the group audit process and act as the main point of contact for external auditors.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 10 years' experience.
  • Stock management experience.
  • Big 4 trained preferred.
  • Experience of managing credit control teams.
  • Sector experience of working in a fastmoving productfocused organisation.
  • Experience with ERP implementation (D365 Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
