Channel Commercials PLC is a leading commercial vehicle dealer providing sales, parts and servicing for DAF Trucks, Maxus light commercial vehicles and vans in the South-East.

An opportunity has arisen at our Strood depot for a Service Administrator.
This role is a 12 month temporary contract to cover maternity leave.

Key responsibilities include:
-


  • Dealing with customers in person and on the telephone regarding repairs, pricing, queries and lead times.
  • Processing of sublet invoices
  • Liaising with workshop and parts staff to resolve internal queries
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with new and existing clients
  • Greeting customers with their vehicles for service and repairs
  • Rebooking of customers' vehicles for reported defects
  • Generating job cards
  • Assisting with invoicing and Service reception
**Essential Qualities include:
- *
  • Experience of working in an administration role
  • Experience of dealing with customers on the telephone and face to face
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills including written, face to face and telephone, with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff including Directors
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Strong planning, scheduling and followup skills
  • Ability to promote and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure and use own initiative
  • Good organisational and problem solving skills
  • Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Accurate with attention to detail
  • Confident and professional manner
**Desirable Qualities include:
- *
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry with an understanding of vehicles
  • Knowledge of Kerridge system
  • Experience/knowledge of processing invoices
  • Dealership/Garage Service Reception experience
  • GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 (or equivalent)

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Pay:
£14,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
