Better Placed are delighted to be partnering with our client in their search for a Head of Marketing to join the business.

The organisation is a small but incredibly ambitious family-owned property company with strong core values.

They've recently outlined a 10-year vision to become a top 10 player in their market and the Head of Marketing will be an essential hire to drive the transformation of the business.


With a new Leeds city centre HQ, a growing, young and diverse management team in place plus a significant investment programme underway, this is truly a great role for a commercially astute and equally ambitious Head of Marketing to come on board and really take ownership of the marketing strategy.

Hybrid working on offer - 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH.


The Role:


  • Develop an annual Marketing Plan incorporating the full marketing mix.
  • Evolve the brand positioning across all channels.
  • Develop Propositions for Product Portfolio.
  • Develop and manage the production of all marketing assets (Sales collateral signage, brochures, proposals, videos, CGIs, photography) collaborating with the external design agency.
  • Manage the organisations digital channels (website, social media, marketplaces) collaborating with external agencies (PR and Digital agency)
  • Monitor, analyse and report on BAU marketing KPIs and Marketing Effectiveness Metrics (on and offline)
  • Brief and manage all internal and external resource to activate campaigns Through The Line (TTL).
  • Manage across Owned, Earned & Bought Aspects of Campaigns.

Person Profile:


  • Proven track record of brand and proposition development.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and building out a marketing strategy.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to analyse and interpret marketing data.
  • A classically trained B2B marketer (property and/or logistics experience desirable but not essential for this opportunity).
  • Capable of operating credibly at board level.
  • Prepared to travel to the regional offices to coordinate activities and campaigns as reasonably appropriate.
