We are currently looking for a Sales Ledger to take responsibility for a large client base.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of our sales ledger portfolios with the growth of taking on additional clients
  • Invoicing on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis in line with our invoicing procedures for multiple different clients
  • Raising credit notes for invoices and lack of service
  • Chasing clients for purchase orders and producing reports regarding the invoicing.
  • Communicate with other departments if payments are being held up due to purchase order not received or account issues
  • Processing internal sales orders and ensuring contract invoicing lines are maintained
  • Creations of new customer accounts
  • Liaising with the Sales Department to ensure correct quotations are received
  • Uploading invoices to customer portals
  • Internal meetings with the Business Development Managers to ensure all invoicing and prices are correct
  • Monthly invoicing of stock items from the warehouse
  • Uploading and managing price increase including service additions and reductions
  • Assisting the Financial Controller and Credit Control Manager with workload and additional queries
  • Reduce Aged Debtors and minimise Bad Debt Risk
  • Taking incoming calls (queries and complaints) from customers, sales, and billing
  • To ensure adherence to month end deadlines
  • Assist with the production of management information

Key skills and Desirables

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily tasks and good multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, both orally and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft packages
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a fluctuating workload
  • Good problemsolving skills and able to use your own initiative
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to present self in a professional manner when dealing with the customers and clients of the business

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
