Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)

Salary:
Upto £40,000 + Benefits and Bonus

Location:
Coventry (West Midlands)

Due to our clients continued success, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to work with an existing team, based at their modern purpose built Bodyshop near Coventry (West Midlands).

An ATA is desirable and you will be able to use confidentiality: Audatex, Autoflow etc. You will have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, live in or around Coventry (West Midlands).

You need to assess the vehicle to make sure the vehicle returns to the customer in pre accident condition if not better.

Following the manufacturers methods you will build assessment, liaise with the customer and negotiate with Insurance engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage
Estimate required repairs together with the time to be allowed, materials and parts required, considering the most economical repair method using both manual and electronic methods.
Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure understanding of correct vehicle repair methodology.
