As a Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and assisting with various duties in our restaurant.

Duties:

• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the counter
• Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the system
• Prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, and beverages
• Assist with food preparation, including slicing meats, chopping vegetables, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices in the kitchen
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation is a plus
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures is beneficial
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
