    Audit Manager Opportunity

    We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team of Qualified Chartered Accountants, Chartered Certified Accountants, and Chartered Tax Advisers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage audits from start to finish, ensuring high-quality work reviewed by senior managers.
    • Prepare accurate accounts for review by senior managers (corporate and larger unincorporated entities).
    • Supervise ad hoc work for clients, maintaining exceptional technical performance.
    • Develop and promote new areas of work, reporting to the Senior Management Team.
    • Train and develop staff under your control, conducting regular development interviews.
    • Draft management letters for clients, ensuring clear communication.
    • Enhance knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and business services.
    • Liaise with clients on financial matters, providing expert guidance.
    • Oversee budgets, agree fees, manage work in progress, debtors, and losses.
    • Regularly report to the senior team on key performance indicators.

    Requirements:

    • ACCA or ACA qualification.
    • 5-10 years' experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
    • Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage accounting software.
    • Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • A strong understanding of the industry, with a salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
    • Monday to Friday working hours, with flexibility to accommodate needs.
