The Orthopaedic Department at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook is seeking a full-time orthopaedic surgeon to join our team.This is an exciting opportunity to come live and work in the Kootenay Rockies The five surgeons currently on staff provide general orthopaedics coverage with flexibility for elective OR time averages one day per week There may be capacity to share an office or you may set up your own office As part of the selection process it is expected that shortlisted candidates will work as a locum for a determined period of time before the final decision is made Successful candidates will possess FRCSC certification in orthopaedics Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia This position offers fee-for-service compensation which includes rural retention funding and relocation incentives This welcoming community setting has endless lifestyle opportunities Apply today Please send a letter of interest contact information for three references and your curriculum vitae in PDF format The application is open until filled
