**Environmental Health Officer (G8)

  • Food Safety / Graduate Environmental Health Officer (career progression from G7) Maternity Cover, 9 months.**We are looking for a committed Environmental Health Officer or Food Safety Officer to work as part of our fantastic Public Protection team. You will help to deliver food safety, and food standards to cover a maternity leave period of nine months within a very experienced, professional, friendly team of officers.

You will be qualified to Diploma or Degree level in Environmental Health or hold the Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection to meet Food Standard Code of Practice competency requirements or equivalent.

The role is allocated a Grade 8 salary for qualified and competent officers. Applications from graduates able to demonstrate some food competency will be considered at the reduced salary grading.

Grade 7- SCP 17- 23, £26,845 - £30,151

Grade 8- SCP 23- 28, £30,151 - £ 34723
