Description

An exciting interim role has become available with a global and leading Sports Marketing Agency, who are looking for a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Group Financial Controller to support their business.

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the below:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for UK for Group submission
  • Review and consolidation of monthly management accounts for international companies for Group submission.
  • Reporting financial results to department heads and account managers.
  • Coordination of the annual budget process
  • Preparation of cashflow forecasts for group submission
  • Management of group working capital
  • Ensuring business compliance with group controls, processes, and policies
  • Providing financial information to key management as and when required, including sales updates, variance analysis and sensitivity analysis
  • Developing and implementing appropriate financial controls throughout the business including appropriate authorisation limits
  • Working with client and sales teams to improve the results of the business, eg maximising gross margin, improving cashflow
  • Supporting account managers in costing and reconciling projects
  • Supporting shared service centre with cost coding, allocation, and approvals

Skill set required:


  • Commercial mindset and approach
  • Fully qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Experience of preparation of management accounts, cashflow and budgets
  • Efficient in MS Office with strong Excel
  • A Strong team player
