Fixed Term Contract

Our expanding client who are a market leader in their industry are recruiting an assistant accountant on a fixed term contract for 6 months - 12 months.

This is a challenging and hands on role with excellent prospects. This is a varied role covering anoverview of the transactional and drafting of management accounts, with month end duties.

In return you will be offered some flexibility around working from home and in office, plenty of support and the opportunity to join a friendly focused team.

Responsibilities include:

Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
Carry out control account reconciliations.
Produce basic accruals and prepayments
Answer purchase ledger queries
Analyse project expenditure and communicate this with project managers.
Assist in the year end audit.
Coordinate purchase ledger payment runs
AAT Level 4 or Equivalent Experience in a varied accounts role

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per week with flexibility around hours and a mix of mix of homeworking and office-based working.
