Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel, a striking Grade II listed iconic building in the vibrant Spinningfields District, offers 148 stylish hotel rooms and suites with modern amenities.

The V&A is the home to Chop & Plant our casual drinking and dining destination, offering a blend of Chop House classics and plant-based dishes with a focus on local produce and sustainability.

We have flexible event spaces, including outdoor terrace, small boardrooms and banqueting for up to 200 people.

What you will be doing:

Being a presence in the lobby - meeting and greeting guests, providing assistance to ensure maximum satisfaction for all guests

Liaising with all departments to ensure all guests needs and expectations are met.

Interacting with guests, finding out their preferences and ensuring that these are updated on their Opera profiles.

Managing and swiftly resolving guest complaints

Creating and arranging amenities to surprise and delight our guests.

Being the main point of contact for VIP guests and ensuring all departments are fully briefed on their requirements

Ensure that all our Mariott Bonvoy guests are acknowledged and receive the benefits/ advantages in line with their loyalty status

Serving as a main point of contact for long-stay guests to ensure consistency and comfort


What we are looking for
A warm and genuine individual who enjoys putting people first

Anticipate the guests needs and constantly try to exceed their expectations

Think outside the box to create tailored experiences that leave our guests with lasting memories

Previous experience in a Guest facing role within a hotel

Someone who is naturally engaging and attentive with an eye for detail

A self-starter who is intuitive and dependable

Someone who wants to grow and develop within the company
