Description
We are looking for a part-time Administrator who will have a wide and varied role:- Receiving and processing of customers' orders
- Picking and packing those orders to prepare for delivery
- Making and receiving phone calls to assist with customer queries
- Maintain and update computerised records
- Raising quotations
- Accepting and checking in supplier deliveries and unpacking items onto shelves
- Making and answering telephone calls
- Advising on Service offerings
- Taking bookings for service engineers and ordering required parts
- Placing orders with suppliers for goods
We are looking for a team player, with a high level of attention to detail, who is a good all-rounder and is prepared to get involved in shaping and organising the business.
The person we are looking for will:
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and to adhere to strict deadlines
- Be confident in speaking with customers,
- Be methodical in their approach
- Be proficient with MS Office software
- Have an understanding of accounting systems, as the job involves an element of credit control. Experience of Xero would be beneficial.
- Experience of stock control systems would be considered advantageous but not essential.
Experience:
- Sales Administration 1 year (preferred)
Salary:
from £9.50 per hour
Additional hours may be available as the job role expands.
