Description
Our client is looking to recruit an IT Systems and Network Technician

This will be a hybrid role after probation

37.5hrs week between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00

Key Responsibilities


mEASURE

maintaining and supporting MICROSOFT SYSTEMS.
Microsoft Server operating systems

Windows operating systems

Active Directory

1st/2nd/3rd line support for server/client systems

Print Servers/File Servers


MAINTAINING AND IMPROVEMENTS OF OFFICE NETWORK TECHNOLOGY
Cisco routing and switching


VLAN
WiFi6

Full compliance and resilience understanding

Firepower configuration

Robust access control

1X Authentication


MAINTAINING AND SUPPORTING MICROSOFT CLOUD SYSTEMS.
Microsoft 365 admin consoles

Microsoft Azure

Exchange Online

EndPoint Manager (InTune)


BASIC SUPPORT OF SQL SERVICES
1st line support & troubleshooting within SQL systems and environments to support the business


SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATION
Assist with day-to-day running of SharePoint systems and services.

Manage all project planning for SharePoint development and deployment.


TICKET MANAGEMENT
ITIL Awareness

Operating to a SLA and achieving KPI targets of varying ticket priorities to maintain an optimum IT service

Ensuring good practice in change management is constantly applied in line with IT Services


new starters & leavers
Be able to efficiently set-up users in hybrid active directory environments

Conduct IT inductions with new starters

Maintain asset register to ensure complete traceability of IT equipment


BACKUP TECHNOLOGIES
Maintain a healthy backup setup to support our systems both on-premises & cloud


SECURITY
Maintain compliance with ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials+ audits

Ensure best practice security methodologies are utilised with every day working

Protect security posture within the business utilising and developing the security tools available


ENVIRONMENTAL
Adhere to company environmental rules and regulations at all times

Use best practice procedures as directed regarding waste etc.


GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING
Protect and maintain company property

Maintain expenses within guidelines

Assist the company as required

Promote Sysmex at all times as a leader in the IVD (In-Vitro Diagnostic) market

MORE THAN FIVE YEARS' EXPERIENCE WORKING AND PROVIDING IT SUPPORT

ADMINISTRATION WITH VMWARE

EXPERIENCE WITH ACTIVE DIRECTORY AND DNS TECHNOLOGIES

EXPERIENCE IN HOSTED TELEPHONY TECHNOLOGIES

EXPERT NETWORK TROUBLESHOOTING AND DESIGNING SKILLS

ENDPOINT MANAGER ADMINISTRATION

EXPERIENCE SETTING UP, AND ADMINISTERING WINDOWS SERVER
EXPERIENCE WITH ADMINISTERING SHAREPOINT ON-PREMISE & ONLINE


ACTIVE QUALIFICATION WITH CISCO
WORKED WITH DYNAMICS 365


OFFICE 365 ADMINISTRATION

WORKED WITH SAP HANA

EXCHANGE ONLINE ADMINISTRATION

WORKED WITH CURRENT BACKUP SOLUTIONS

UNDERSTANDING OF PROBLEM/CHANGE/INCIDENT MANAGEMENT
