Supplies and Ordering Specialist - Leicester, United Kingdom - TVS Supply Chain Solutions
Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Resolve all issues relating to materials/meters to ensure continuity of supply for engineers and customers
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to source materials at suitable rates whilst ensuring the needs of the customer are met
- Ensure product and supplier information is up to date across all systems and meets the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records
- Work with warehouse staff to ensure efficient supply of parts to the field
- Manage decision making process when arranging logistics using reverse logistics where possible
- Work closely with operations to advise of expected stock deliveries
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong coordination, organisational and attention to detail skills
- Able to prioritise deliverables, using own initiative to support their manager with generating solutions to address problems
- Can explain how own role supports delivery of excellent service to our customers
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Confidence and creditability with the ability to effectively communicate information (verbal and written) in a clear and concise manner, whilst demonstrating empathy with suppliers and colleagues
- Support own development through selfdriven learning to gain further knowledge and expertise
- Continuously seeking ways to simplify and improve processes to simplify the organisation and provide better service
- Motivated and engaged to deliver against operational and service level targets
- Ability to collaborate and work well within a team
