Description

We have a permanent position for a MIG welder fabricator for an engineering firm in Sudbury, Suffolk.

We are looking for an experienced welder who is well able to fabricate. You will need to be an able to read & work from drawings independently.

You will predominantly MIG welding & as the work is varied you will be welding thicknesses between 1mm-20mm+.

Other duties include:

MIG welding
Fabricating with various hand & power tools
Use of cutting, drilling & grinding machinery
Always follow & adhere to the company's health and safety standards
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems i.e., hydraulics
Assemble & disassemble of plantbased equipment

You will be required to work independently so it is essential that you can read and work from engineering (CAD) drawings and comply with weld symbols and standards as required.

We are only considering welders with 5+ years' experience in the field.

Standard hours (40 week), Monday-Friday.
