Civil Engineer - Newport - Hybrid Working

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to work for a modern and innovative, Multi Discipline engineering consultancy to join the growing team.

They pride themselves on their work and their work ethic so they are looking for an Engineer who is enthusiastic about their work, and can contribute and strengthen the team.

They are a Smaller company therefore we need someone who will match the personalityof the office

Their Civils Team work on a mixture of:

Flood Risk Assessments
SAB Applications
Infrastructure and Highway Design
Detailed Drainage Design

The Role:

Section 104 and 106 use for Drainage Design
SAB Applications

, and liaising with the Authorities to obtain SAB approval

Detailed Design, Concept Design and Design Calculations
Liaison with other disciplines/contractors within Architecture, Structures, Mechanical and Electrical Consultants

What we are looking for:

At least 2 years postgraduation experience, with a suitable BEng/BSc, Meng/MSc
Working towards Chartered Membership of the ICE
Good communication skills, being able to work in a team
Good Technical Design Capabilities
Good knowledge with Software packages Civil3D, AutoCAD, PDS and Causeway Flow/Microdrainage
Experienced in Site Meetings
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
