We are recruiting for a Chinese client, who is a high-tech company, focusing on renewable energy conversion, solar inverters, solar pumping systems, and battery storage solutions.
The Company's vision is to become the world's leading provider of digital energy management services for green buildings, helping to establish smart and efficient energy environments for a healthy and happy life.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Travel to sites may be required to perform troubleshooting, firmware upgrading and replacement of defective products. System inspection, installation and product training may also form part of duties
- Provide timely solutions to customers, escalating problems to management team if no immediate solution is apparent. To track issues and keep customers informed of progress
- Submit weekly reports to supervisor each week
- Support and assist the sales team in all technical aspects of the product portfolio and demonstrate a firm understanding of clients' specific requirements. Clients range from distributors to EPC's endconsumer clients
- Participate in technical training courses aimed at different market segments for presales, installation and postsales customers. Training maybe in association with other product providers where good understanding of interoperability with these productsis required. O&M, EPC, developers and maintenance are some of the customers to be expected
- Attend exhibitions and marketing events to support the sales and marketing teams, which includes practical setup and liaison with clients in technical aspects of products required
What we are looking for:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering
- At least 13 years' experience in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, PV industry experience preferred
- Computer literate: knowledge of Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, Power Point
- Knowledge of PV system design tools such as PVsol, PVsyst, OpenSolar would be useful
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Strong handson and problem solving skills
- Calm under pressure
- Financially aware
- Willingness to travel
