Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Drivers to join our client based in southampton. You will be making general delivereies in and around SO and PO Postcodes. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and wants to be part of a dynamic team.

Duties

Safely and efficiently operate a van to transport goods and materials
Load and unload items from the van
Follow delivery schedules and routes provided
Ensure all deliveries are made on time
Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
Keep accurate records of deliveries and mileage

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a maximum of 6 points due to insurance and no DD or INS
Must be over the age of 21 due to insurance
Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver preferred
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to follow directions and work independently
