Circa £80,000 plus bonus

A fantastic opportunity is now available to join our team in our London office.

We are looking to add a Head of Bid Management to our team to manage the bid opportunities within Transport UK core bus and rail business.

The Role

  • Develop a winning bid strategy for core business bids, namely Liverpool Bus and London Overground
  • Identify resources required for delivering the winning bid strategy and support recruiting for those resources
  • Identify and manage a bid project plan
  • Identify and manage a bid budget including mobilisation phases
  • Manage client, stakeholder, and shareholder relationships
  • Manage governance steps including Go/No Go, steering group meetings, bid approvals and sign off
  • Manage communications within the bid team and with the TUK key personnel including data site information, CQs/AQs
  • Manage Teams/SharePoint sites
  • Manage a RAID log
  • Ensure bids are delivered on time and on budget and submitted compliant with the procurement requirements
  • Conduct a lessons learned exercise after each bid, gathering key information and producing a report.
  • Able to write articulately and concisely
  • Numerate and able to assess quantified data
  • Able to collaborate across departments
  • Qualifies in project management processes, ideally PRINCE2 and MS Project software.

  • Salary circa £80,000 depending on experience.
