The Client:


Our client is a highly successful business that offers a wide range of services including accounting, audit, business insolvency, bookkeeping, HR advice, payroll management, personal and business tax planning, personal financial planning, corporate finance and company secretarial services.


They are proud to serve a wide range of clients, including over 1000 businesses, University of Oxford Colleges, and over 200 charities across the UK.


The Role:


Your responsibilities will include assisting with the
compliance and advisory requirements of a number of mainly
Private Client Individuals and in addition
some trust tax returns, with a view to take on your own portfolio and manage your own client relationships.

You will be assisting with tax planning for high-net-worth individuals with a view to build your knowledge and experience. Whilst the first few months this would be office based, there is the potential for some homeworking thereafter.


Day-to-day responsibilities:


  • Managing a portfolio and assisting other staff members with personal and trust tax returns to include monitoring of billing and work in progress
  • Assisting in the review of tax returns by more junior members of staff
  • Involvement in general tax planning issues including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning and daytoday tax advice
  • Assisting colleagues with highlevel tax planning with a view to develop your knowledge and experience over time.
  • To liaise proactively with clients
  • To assist in marketing Private Client taxation services
  • To attend networking events, in order to promote the Firm, as required

Qualification & Requirement:


  • Qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA or ATT, or qualified by experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in accountancy background
  • Personal Tax Experience
