Do you have retail travel experience and looking for a new challenge?

Barrhead Travel is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Product Executive.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm (no weekends)

Location:
Homeworking or Hybrid working in Glasgow City Centre

Key Responsibilities:

Product fulfilment for our daily, weekly and monthly joint marketing campaigns
Identify new sales leads in terms of which suppliers would suit our mix of business for each destination.
Liaise with Business Development team, marketing, web team to provide offers for marketing
Communicate our best deals effectively to the sales force
Provide the best offers/deals for our events
Regularly review competitor activity to ensure best customer value and keep our competitive edge
Monitor competitor activity on a weekly basis to ensure we have the most competitive deals in the market
Ensuring that all stores know about promotional campaigns and have the relevant information.
Monitor The Barrhead Travel website to ensure that up to date with offers/campaigns are being promoted

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous retail travel experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including destinations, suppliers, and products.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in using computer systems and travel industry software.
