Are you a qualified and experienced Band 5 RMN seeking a temporary position at an esteemed healthcare institution? Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is currently looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse on a temporary basis.
As a Band 5 RMN, you will be based at Lynfield Mount Hospital, situated in the picturesque area of Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality care and support to patients with mental health conditions.
You will play a crucial role in assessing patients' needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
Within this temporary position, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers, to provide holistic and person-centered care.
Effective communication and collaborative skills are essential to ensure smooth coordination with the team and to meet the individual needs of each patient.
Your daily schedule will commence at 07:30:00 and conclude at 20:00:00 during the contracted period from 06/02/2024 to 06/02/2024. This shift timing allows for efficient coverage of patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will be compensated at a competitive rate of £200 per shift, in accordance withPAYE regulations.
As a Band 5 RMN, you will encounter a diverse range of patients with various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, psychosis, and personality disorders.
Your role requires strong clinical skills, including the ability to administer medication, perform risk assessments, and manage crisis situations when necessary.
Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will contribute to the smooth running of the facility and the overall well-being of the patients.
To be considered for this temporary position as a Band 5 RMN, you must hold a current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
In addition to your professional qualifications, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, their families, and the care team.
