Tradewind are currently recruiting for SEND Teaching Assistants in Wirral to work in local SEND school. The roles are to cater to children aged 3-16 years. We have full time and part time roles available on a supply basis.

The role

We are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to work with children aged 3-16 years. The SEND Teaching Assistant will be required to support pupils on a 1:1 and group basis. This role is suitable for support staff, ECTs and experienced Teachers. The school have stated that past experience in a SEND school is desirable, however, not essential.

To be considered for the position of SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

Be comfortable with personal care
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND staff.
Have a passion for supporting children and young adults with MLD and PMLD needs.

To be considered for this position you will:

have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
Be a committed professional
Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person

- have satisfactory references
- have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;

Have the legal right to work in the UK.
Top rates of pay (all rates are typically inclusive of holiday pay; however, we will happily accrue this upon request)
