Fowler Sandford Chartered Surveyors are currently looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our team.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to communicate with staff, customers and suppliers in a pleasant and effective manner.
  • Ability to be selfmotivating, innovative and work without supervision.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Good computer skills with a focus on Excel
  • Prior knowledge of Xero accounting software is essential
  • Previous experience of property management or accounts would is advantageous but not essential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES

  • Sales ledger raising invoices, dealing with queries, allocating payments
  • Credit Control
  • Purchase ledger checking invoices, reconciling against statements, supplier payments (both by cheque and Bacs)
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Banking of customer cheques and cash
  • Maintaining records
  • General administrative duties
  • Any other duties commensurate with this role

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£26,000.00 per year

Education:


  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

- accounting: 6 years (required)
