Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working exclusively with a reputable company in the Walsall area. We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant for progressive and hybrid working role.


About our client:

The business is a well-known consumer brand that puts their colleagues first and is looking for someone to join their vibrant team


The Role:


The Assistant Management Accountant will be reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the Finance team with month-end management accounts.


Duties:


  • Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reporting.
  • Provide support to the Finance team.
  • Gain an understanding of Corporation Tax returns.
  • Work with the Finance Manager to develop linkages.
  • Responsible for closing the Fixed Asset registers.

Person specification:


  • Advantageous but not essential to have a business/accountingbased degree.
  • Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA.
  • Month end experience.
  • Intermediate Excel.
  • Various system experience.
  • 2+ years' experience.
  • Ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.

What is on offer:


  • Up to £28,000 p/a.
  • Hybrid working, 2 days in the office.
