Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working exclusively with a reputable company in the Walsall area. We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant for progressive and hybrid working role.About our client:

The Role:
The Assistant Management Accountant will be reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the Finance team with month-end management accounts.
Duties:
- Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reporting.
- Provide support to the Finance team.
- Gain an understanding of Corporation Tax returns.
- Work with the Finance Manager to develop linkages.
- Responsible for closing the Fixed Asset registers.
Person specification:
- Advantageous but not essential to have a business/accountingbased degree.
- Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA.
- Month end experience.
- Intermediate Excel.
- Various system experience.
- 2+ years' experience.
- Ability to work logically, consistently, and accurately.
What is on offer:
- Up to £28,000 p/a.
- Hybrid working, 2 days in the office.
