Description
As a fabricator, you will be familiar with reading engineering drawings and handling power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fettling castings
- Leading fabrications
- Use of MIG welder steel & aluminium
- Use of workshop powertools & machine tools
- Reading engineering drawings
Experience & Qualifications:
- a recognized welding qualification or significant experience in lieu
- Have a good eye for detail
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience of MIG welding.
- Able to work individually and as part of a diverse team.
- Experience of site work.
Core Competencies:
- Safe operation of welding & fettling equipment
- Ability to create high quality finishes
- Ability to read drawings
- Welding experience
- Ability to undertake occasional site work
