Laboratory Assistant

Here at Peopleforce Recruitment, we are looking for an individual interested in becoming a Laboratory Assistant within a global healthcare company at one of their sites in Oxford, specialising in research within diagnosing and treating exposures to toxins and toxicants.

This role will be an ongoing temporary placement that would be perfect for someone wanting to gain experience within a cleanroom and regulated environment.

General activities within this position:

Preparation of equipment needed when asked by team and supervisor, also making sure that everything is used within regulatory and specific requirements
Ongoing training and teaching throughout to ensure knowledge and development are continued
Continuous maintenance and sanitation of the area in accordance with regulations
General assistance to the overall department
Evidence of attention to detail
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and to learn and understand regulated standards
GCSE in Science
Interest in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
Either a UK citizen or an already approved right to work within the UK for an extended period of time
