Healthcare Assistant (Residential Care)

Here at Willing Care, we are seeking a Healthcare Assistant (Residential Care)for one of our very established clients._


About the service:

This residential care home offers personal care and specialist dementia services to a small number of older adults. The service has beautiful, landscaped gardens and a greenhouse where residents can enjoy gardening

The Home has excellent motorway and rail travel links, as well as an onsite carpark


Duties and Responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant (Residential Care):

  • Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing
  • Providing emotional and mental health support
  • Keeping residents comfortable and assisting with manual handling
  • Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of patients, ensuring any changes are reported and documented accordingly
  • Updating care plans

Requirements for the Healthcare Assistant (Residential) role:

  • 6 months experience within a Healthcare Assistant role
  • Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care is desirable but not a requirement
