Stockport, Greater Manchester

Salary:
£1,350-£1,600

Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm


We are seeking to recruit a highly committed, motivated, and child-centred activity support assistant to work in one of our busy and thriving special educational needs schools.
Empowering Learning are working with a SEND / SEMH school within Stockport. The school provides outstanding schooling for children with a range of complex educational needs. Each young person's set of needs requires a unique approach.

Our teachers work alongsidethe children to help support and progress their individual capabilities into academic success, as part of a holistic and uniquely attentive educational strategy - and all of this from a setting that is truly inspiring to both pupils and teachers.


Our school requires an activity support assistant who is an excellent team player, can work successfully with young people with challenging behaviour, has high expectations of others and has the ability to work on their own initiative.


We are looking for someone with:
Experience of working with children/young people

The ability to communicate effectively with children and staff members.
