A vacancy has become available at Westex Carpets Ltd, for a têxtile operative, working within our Sampling department.

Contracted hours:39**
Shift pattern: 7am - 4pm (Mon-Thurs) 7am - 12pm (Fri)

Job description
You will be trained in the day to day running of the sampling department.

You will be responsible for many aspects of the process of sample making; from cutting carpet to labelling and posting the finished samples.

Duties

The cutting of samples using the cutting machine
The whipping of samples
The labelling of samples
The wrapping and distribution of unit samples to sales Representatives

Postal service

Labelling and packing customer sample requests for distribution.

Responsibilities

With a responsible attitude, you will work in a safe and clean environment by ensuring that all policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to at all times.
You are responsible for reporting any safety issues immediately with your line manger

Previous experience is preferred but full training will be provided.

£10.84 per hour
