Milk Education are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a partner school in the area of south Manchester.

The school like to utilise their TA's in different year groups across the school working on Primary aged children.

Working hours are 8:30-15:30 Monday to Friday.


What the role involves:

  • Experience working with children, preferably those with additional needs
  • You will need to be empathetic, patient and hard working in order to support the different challenges that pupils face.
  • You will need to work closely with the teacher, other TAs, school management, parents & outside agencies in order to get the best outcomes for your pupils.
  • Helping pupils develop independent learning skills, manage their own learning and prioritise their time
  • Be comfortable managing children with SEND needs

  • Be an excellent practitioner
  • Offer drive, kindness, enthusiasm, imagination and commitment.
  • Establish a caring, inclusive environment with a focus on developing the whole child.
  • Be passionate about achievement for every child and committed to ongoing professional learning.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
