About Us:
Tubers Academy is a digital creators academy and creative space for young people with additional needs, aged 7-17.
We are a forward thinking, progressive company looking for dynamic teachers and creatives to assist in enabling young learners to express themselves digitally.
Our Alternative Provision facility provides 1:1 and small group delivery of our digital production curriculum and structured gaming to SEN children out of, transitioning or struggling within the school environment.
With 3 centres in the South West, we are currently expanding our Provision to Yorkshire with the first centre due to open in Barnsley in June and additional centres planned.

Alternative Provision / Remote sessions
About the Role:
Responsible for overseeing Centre delivery teams and child placements within an Alternative Provision setting. May be required to deliver as cover or support across centres where necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Managing Area SENCo team.
- Coordinating child placements, onboarding and associated admin management.
- Liaising with parents, schools and multiagencies.
- Overseeing centre delivery teams to ensure high levels of service.
- Coordinate with SENCo team to ensure adherence and standards of reporting processes.
- Monitoring the delivery of individual learner progress and targets.
- Attending EHCP / TAF / transitional / multi agency meetings.
- Regional Safeguarding Lead role and responsibilities.
- Regular attendance at regional centres.
- Working closely with management to ensure service standards and development.
- Preparing and delivering SEN training throughout the region.
- Occasional delivery cover or supervision at regional centres.

- Experience of working with children with SEN requirements. (E)
- Experience of working with children with autism / PDA / ADHD / anxiety. (E)
- Understanding of EHCP and professional child assessments. (E)
- SEN team experience. (E)
- Ability to identify the scope of individual learner specific requirements. (E)
- Confidence to positively and effectively resolve issues with learners, families and team members. (E)
- Experience managing or supervising a small team. (E)
- Experience working with camera equipment and video production platforms. (D)
- Knowledge of video games and internet culture. (E)
- Flexibility to work overtime and cover shifts when required. (E)
- Ability to attend onsite at regional centres. (E)

Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (E)
- Confident IT skills, experience using both Mac OSX and Windows. (E)
- Strong reporting and admin skills. (E)
- Ability to use design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. (D)
- Knowledge of editing software including Final Cut Pro X. (D)

- IT systems, hardware and software used within the Academy / AP setting.
- Basic video production, video editing, media and tech training.
- Service Policies and Procedures.
- Paediatric First Aid training.
- Child protection training.
- Safeguarding training.
- Autism awareness training.
- Training in deescalation techniques & strategies for behaviours that cause concern.
- Continuous CPD and training as agreed.
Job Types:

Salary:
£28,000.00 per year

- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
