Job Description:


We are looking for a new Head of Facilities, to be responsible for all Reaction Engines UK facilities at Culham, Didcot and future sites & for multi-site physical security.

Your role will involve management of the Buildings, Maintenance, Services & the Facilities team.


Qualifications:


To be successful you'll need:


  • Proven track record in Facilities Management of multisite
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental regulations
  • Strong understanding of the Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations
  • Understanding and familiarisation of building regulations
  • Strong risk management experience
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Good demonstrated working experience with contractors and suppliers
  • Proven track record with multisite facility management
  • Proven project management experience
  • Experience of implementation of physical security policies
  • Experience of lease management and building regulations
  • Experience in implementation of improvements
  • Design, planning and implementation of new facilities
  • Understanding of physical security protocols and working practices
  • BSc in industrial engineering, systems engineering, or mechanical engineering or related degree
  • Demonstrated depth of knowledge in
  • Construction and building services, Electrical or mechanical engineering or Chartered SurveyingAdditional Information

Working hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
