Reed Education are working alongside a school in the Wrexham area who are looking for 2 part-time cleaners to support them on a permanent basis.

Working outside of school hours from pm, this is a great opportunity for a cleaner looking to gain extra hours, or for someone looking to get their foot through the door in this type of role.

Starting in January 2023 term time only, to provide a cleaning service for the school across all types of rooms, including offices, classrooms, laboratories, halls, corridors, and toilets.

Duties include:

Vacuum cleaning floors.
Spot cleaning of spillages.
Wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors and polishing door glass.
Emptying and cleaning bins (daily).
Cleaning toilets including sanitary fittings and surrounds.
Mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces.
Wiping, dusting, cobweb removal, polishing.
Replenishing janitorial supplies in toilets, etc (daily).
Undertake deep clean as and when required.
Checking and closing windows, switching off lights after work and ensure the building is secure on exit.
Such other duties as may be allocated from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications:

Some knowledge of Health and Safety Regulation in regards to cleaning equipment and cleaning materials.
Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the school team.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to prioritise work and be flexible.
Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
