We are currently seeking to bring in our team a highly skilled member with specialised knowledge of Dry Bulk Ocean Shipping.

This is a pivotal role in providing guidance on Ocean movement logistics, freight estimation, negotiation and contract development.


Job Description:

• Develop and maintain relationships with Ship Owners, Charterers, and agents.
• Understand and assess the transportation needs and requirements of clients.
• Prepare and manage charterparty contracts, agreements, and documentation.
• Negotiate rates and terms with counter parties to secure costeffective and reliable transportation solutions for Dry Bulk Shipping.
• Monitor the operations of the vessels in the fleet, following their daily activities and coordinating their compliance with the operations.
• Provide support for the chartering of vessels and preparation of market information reports.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in the transportation market and provide support to the other departments of the shipping company with technical knowledge about navigation and port operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Law, or a related field is desirable.

Skills:

• At least 2 years experience in commercial aspects of the Dry bulk shipping industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry practices.
• Excellent problemsolving abilities.

Salary:
£30,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
