Recruiting for a Bar Supervisor for 2023.
The Tavern is seeking a Bar Supervisor to oversee staff, training, hiring, bar promotions, and inventory.

As a Bar Supervisor, you will manage the budget, conduct marketing, drive sales, ensure high standards and hygiene, motivate the team, and ensure excellent customer service.


Duties will be:


  • Completing tasks assigned by the General Manager & Deputy Manager
  • Overseeing bar staff
  • Maintaining bar cleanliness
  • Ensuring expenditure remains within the bar's budget
  • Stock taking/manage inventory and other business aspects
  • Keeping uptodate with industry trends
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety
  • Supervising a fastpaced environment
  • Guaranteeing the bar team delivers excellent service
  • Upselling the outside gin bar: Require a sales technique that involves increasing the turnover with a focus & knowledge towards premium products.

Bar Supervisor skills and Requirements:
-

  • One year of bar supervisory or leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Stock and financial accuracy and resolution skills
  • Motivational and a passion for developing others
  • Computer and POS proficiency
  • Ability to maintain high standards when working under pressure
