GSL Education are actively looking for few enthusiastic dedicated

Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant for our client schools based in

York to commence

ASAP. You will be teaching a

KS1 aged class of varying abilities, so the ability to differentiate is essential.


To be successful in the role you must:

  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Have experience supporting pupils with learning difficulties.
  • Be able to establish meaningful and positive relationships quickly.
  • Be supporting pupils inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Help pupils to increase their confidence and selfesteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a
    DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for a new one through GSL Education.
