Description
Kaleidoscope is a pioneering substance misuse treatment provider, across the whole of Wales and the Wirral. We offer evidence-based treatment and holistic support to individuals who access our services.

Role Purpose:

Kaleidoscope is a pioneering organisation supporting people with drug, alcohol and mental health issues.

As an organisation we recognise that many of the people we support are negatively impacted by stigma and that there is a lack of public awareness of the reality of substance use issues.

The problem for many of the people we support is not helped by the social and legal situation people find themselves in.

It is therefore important that we have a strategy of advocating for people.

This role will be about positively promoting the people we help as well as influencing the public debate about substance use and advocating a harm reduction approach to supporting people.

Kaleidoscope has a changing staff team and it is important that staff themselves are aware of Harm Reduction, part of this role therefore requires the post holder to be able to deliver training on this issue.
