Warehouse Supervisor

£25,000 to £28,000 basic salary

Speke

Permanent

Monday to Friday during 8:45am to 5:00pm
An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our client in the Speke area. Day to day you will be responsible for directing the team while also supporting with day-to-day warehouse tasks. On offer is a basic salary of £25,000 to £28,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:00pm

The main duties of a Warehouse Supervisor are:

  • Support the management team in the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse
  • Delegating and prioritising daily tasks
  • Supporting staff with their daily work loads
  • Taking responsibility for tasks and ensure completion
  • Managing your own workload and carrying out general warehouse duties
  • Lead by example as a 'go to person'
  • Support the training and induction of new staff
  • Provide ongoing support to underperforming staff to reach targets
  • Be an advocate for quality work and onsite H&S
  • You have supervisor/team leader experience within a warehouse setting or at least be a senior member of the team
  • You will also have an FLT licence (counterbalance AND reach)
  • Have a high work the ethic and the want to lead by example
  • Possess strong time management and delegation skills
