Role Overview:


Are you looking for an opportunity to learn more about Business Intelligence (BI) with an aspect of Financial Planning and Analysis? If so, we would love to hear from you.


This is a newly created position expanding the existing team and is an opportunity for someone to join, initially on a 12 month Fixed Term contract at an entry level to gain hands on learning and insight in to the Equities Business Management and Analytics area.

This opportunity would suit someone with the right technical ability, looking to gain hands-on experience. Or someone with some prior relevant experience, looking to develop themselves.


Role Responsibilities:
You will be have accountability for (but not limited to):

  • Supporting the businesses' day-to-day needs with ad hoc analysis to drive business results using reporting tools and database querying to answer questions from broad spectrum of customers including Sales Team, Sales Management, Compliance and Executive Team
  • Updating and improving existing processes
  • Assisting the development and forecasting of regional budgets/KPIs, ongoing business performance monitoring, competitor/market analysis, product analysis, and the production of performance commentary and analysis
  • Assisting in monitoring and tracking of new business initiatives for the region
  • Assisting regional account review processes in coordination with regional sales management
  • Assisting in the preparation of key presentations & marketing materials, including Town Halls, business line Operating Committees.
  • Exploratory analysis to drive product effectiveness, client interaction or internal processes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Liquidnet EMEA sales teams, external partners, senior management & corporate functions

Experience / Competences:

  • Degree, or working towards a degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • Analytical Capabilities and

Technical Acumen:

Proficient in Excel, SQL, and have experience with reporting tools such as IBM Cognos, Qlik, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc.


  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in PowerPoint, ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, and interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Detail Oriented: Able to respond to client and management requests with immediacy and accuracy
  • Project Management: Possesses ability to outline detailed plans, collaborate with crossorganization partners to execute, monitor progress, enable decisions that unblock issues, and escalate risks/issues
  • Independent Ownership: Ability to take ownership and deliver results independently while operating within a cross functional team environment
  • Team: must be a team player with ability and interest in participating in new projects and helping other departments within the company
  • Interest and understanding of global markets, trading products, and institutional trading trends
