Are you an experienced Nurse qualified Area manager?

Could you lead a small group of registered homes, providing expert guidance, support and line management to a group of care homes ?

Do you have previous experience in a regional/senior management role with evidence of consistent employment?

If so, you could be the person our client is looking for.


Our client has a exciting vacancy for an Area Manager who can lead their well led homes to Outstanding, through supporting, managing and leading the home based teams by providing expert knowledge, advice and guidance.

  • Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for reporting on action plans for each home, demonstrating continuous improvement, managing, leading and motivating the management team within the homes.
  • You will have excellent documentation, auditing and analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of all applicable legislation and regulations.
  • You will be able to critically analyse information presented, and provide clear guidance and expectations in order to build a continuous improvement culture.
  • You will ensure quality, personcentred care is consistently delivered and the excellent reputation the company holds is maintained.
  • Salary in the region of £60,000 £65,000 DOE
  • Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse or equivalent, ideally have experience of complex mental health care (dementia)
  • Able to demonstrate having managed a fully compliant nursing home/s.
  • You will have proven leadership and communication skills and a keen eye for the finer details.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen. The ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships is a key aspect of the role.
  • Experience of working with dementia care is essential
