Description

We're looking for a proactive, flexible and reliable Fire Safety Engineer to join our Manchester office, with experience in a similar role and who possesses a recognised fire safety engineering qualification.

Working across a variety of projects both autonomouslyand as part of a wider team, tasks you will be required to undertake as part of your role include (but are not limited to):

Develop design and construction fire safety strategies
Prepare fire safety assessment for external walls
Prepare other technical engineering analysis such as CFD Modelling, Structural fire engineering, etc...
Carry out site visits when required
Provide fire safety advice
Write fee proposal letters
Liaise with client on a daily basis

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, structural, civil or a similar field)
Involvement and recognition with a professional body
Proven background in fire safety and good understanding of fire engineered solutions
At least two years' experience in a similar role
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
