- £16.34 per hour - £14.76 during initial 3-month probation period (inclusive of 17.5% shift allowance)

20 hours per week
Shift work rosters covering all days of the week. Earlies roster (03:00 09:00) and lates rosters (13:00 20:00) available.

What will I be doing as an Airport Security Officer?

Security Officers are one of the most vital roles in the airport, ensuring that all passengers have a safe and enjoyable journey.

In this exciting role you will get involved in;
Conducting hand searches of cabin luggage and passengers as required at the central search security area
Operating high-tech security equipment such as X-Ray machines and body scanners
Patrolling our Terminal
Checking of staff ID cards and passenger boarding cards before entering the security area
Greeting guests to ensure they receive the very best service

What will make you successful in the role?

No security experience is required as we pride ourselves in offering full training, but you will ideally have experience of working in a customer focused environment.

Naturally, we want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and your ability to deliver excellent customer service. As the face of
MAG we need you to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
