  • First Response Claims**
    Middlesex, Uxbridge
  • Hybrid Working Available after probation

Monday*:


  • Friday shifts between 8am6:30pm**
    Salary: £22,000 £26,000, plus on average £4,200 a year in bonus

The Company

My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition and are in The Times Top 100 Companies to work for.


This exciting opportunity to work for a dynamic, fast moving company within the credit hire industry who pride themselves not only on brilliant service to their customers but also maintaining an enviable place to work.

The company have been established for over 27 years and are currently going through a period of significant growth and as a result of this are looking to recruit for a first response claims handler to join the team.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Make initial contact with new customers in order to assess their claim and provide them with a hire vehicle in a timely manner
  • Reviewing circumstances of road traffic incidents
  • Investigating severity of a customer's vehicle damages
  • Making commercial decisions for the benefit of the business
  • Liaising with various parties to assist with investigations
  • Acknowledging and highlighting issues with cases
  • Providing an empathetic service to clients who have been involved in road traffic incidents
  • Identifying key requirements for replacement vehicles
  • Ensuring the business and the customer are kept safe from fraudulent activity
  • To make sure inhouse processes are adhered to

Key Skills and Knowledge:


  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Have the ability to make fast, informed decisions
  • Has an interest in further developing skills and experience
  • Friendly bubbly individuals who value teamwork
  • Good Word/Outlook knowledge
  • Good sales, negotiation and persuasion skills
This role would suit someone who is bubbly, friendly and who has a great passion for customer service.

The role calls for someone who is eager to learn, dedicated and ideally someone who drives/is knowledgeable about cars as this will be a key part of the role.
