Pink Tile Education are recruiting an Early Years Practitioner + for a gorgeous nursery in the Worthing area

Job Title:
Early Years Practitioner, but Higher Positions available with at least Level 3 qualificatiob

Location:
Worthing, West Sussex

Main responsibilities:

To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0
To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others
To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development and learning
To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the manager/deputy manager
To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors at all times
To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress
To ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
To understand and work to nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments
To liaise closely with parents/carers, informing about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about children's progress and encouraging parental involvement
To work in partnership with management to update and review the development plan
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery aims

Preferably level 2 or 3 qualifications and experience working with children 0-5, but new practitioners are always welcome and considered to begin their career here

Please note that a full enhanced Child DBS will need to be obtained prior to beginning the role. Applicant must have one or be willing to obtain one - Pink Tile can help you with this.

Requirements:

This individual will have passion and enthusiasm for safeguarding children and delivering high standards of care.

Relevant child development/care qualifications and experiences
Desired to have at least 1 years experience in a childcare setting, or successful placements.
A great understanding of / willingness to learn the EYFS.
A passion and enthusiasm for childcare.
Great communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
Good timekeeping, organisation and reliability.
